Winter is coming....

A man is holding a cardboard box in a room.

By now, everyone should have received the first "new water bill" from QLWA. There will continue to be adjustments to the system and the bills as we work out the early "lumps and bumps". After the first bills went out, we were able to upgrade the new billing system to include email billing. So, for those of you who were used to getting your bill via email, that should be available with the next billing cycle in January.

As noted in the "About" section, we have placed Thinsulate Canvas bags, stuffed with styrofoam peanuts, in all boxes with meters. We want to ensure our investment in the new meters is protected as much as possible. All boxes should now have the white plastic bags stuffed with SR38 insulation while the metered boxes have both.

It appears we are rapidly moving toward a potentially record cold winter. Just this morning, our low was 8 degrees....brrrrr....

The winters here, with the snow and cold, however, are quite enchanting!
